TITLE Team Leader – Software Solutions
ROLE The Team Leader – Software Solutions will be responsible for developing, managing and helping a team of developers to develop highly interactive, compelling, dynamic, scalable and intelligent online learning platforms and solutions that can help take our company to the next level. S/he will design
and implement new features that will be used on our portal(s) by the learner personas.
RESPONSIBILITIES Leading and providing guidance to current (and perhaps new) team members;
assisting them with feedback and code reviews; and developing scalable,
operationally viable solutions that help end users through their learning life
cycles. Specific responsibilities are the following, to be met in cooperation
with team members:
● Team management (recruitment, development, career management…)
● End to end product development starting from design, architecture, development, monitoring and quality control, all within given timelines.
● Optimization of operations of our current LMS platform to fully leverage it to serve the diverse learning needs of our learners and clients spread across the country.
● Integrating Artificial Intelligence tools into our existing platforms to make them more relevant and appealing to end users.
● Visualizing navigation and user interface through the portal to keep it simple and appealing.
● Deploying new versions and newer client instances and/or integration with their existing LMS.
● Benchmarking with competing platforms and creating/implementing strategies for competitive advantage.
● Collaborating with Project Management and UX teams on one side and potentials clients on the other.
● Working closely with our team of subject matter experts to understand their requirements to host the courses; analyzing the feedback/responses from the learners to further improve the effectiveness of the courses.
● Working with the team to integrate content with the platforms.
1. Applicants should have 8-10 years of relevant hands-on experience in developing highly efficient and scalable learning solutions for a leading ed-tech or IT company.
2. Applicants with B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA in CSE/IT or relevant education
qualification will be preferred.
3. Experience of integrating AI/ML to LMS to analyze the user
experience/feedback would be an added advantage.
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
The key skills/attributes required are:
Sound Knowledge on Software Architecture and Database Optimization.
High quality organizational and leadership skills
HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, Moodle and RDBMS.
Experience in LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP/Python).
Experience in working with Python Framework, integration of Data science application with web apps and Open EdX will be an added advantage.
Good understanding of Web Service Protocols such as REST, SOAP and API designs for extensibility and Portability.
Good Experience on Integrating E-Commerce functionality in LMS.
Having a good knowledge on building an application with interactivity
and Gamification.
Candidates with the knowledge of SEO, google analytics and SSO Integration will be preferred.
Candidate should be expert in software cycle for end-to-end software development.
Experience implementing Online Chatting System.
Experience integrating Virtual Programming Lab
Good experience on Integrating Online Meetings and Video Conferencing into the LMS application
Expertise in estimating timeline, managing teams and interacting with clients to understand their requirements is must.
Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc.
